First edition of Stream Behind the Mirror by Shinichi Kinugawa (1979). Medium format paperback in very good condition. There is some minor wear to the yellow band across the front cover. Light toning to title page. Small bump to the bottom of the spine. The spine is shaky but still in tact. (Please note that this is common amongst other copies of this title). Born in Kobe in 1947, bought a single-lens reflex camera for the first time in the late twenties in work days, Shinichi Igawa who studied photography in the Araki classroom of the legendary Terakoya private “workshop photo school” in 1976.
Then, in 1979, at that time, it was published with the recommendation of Taku Yada, a photo communication company, who actively conducted excavations of young photographers and presented a photo collection starting with "APARTMENT" in Miyako Ishiuchi.
Nobuyoshi Araki also stated, "The eroticism of the wind, that is Shinichi Igawa."
